Frank Drebin quotes

“I'm sure that we can handle this situation maturely, just like the responsible adults that we are. Isn't that right, Mr. Poopy Pants?”

“Wilma, I promise you; whatever scum did this, not one man on this force will rest one minute until he's behind bars.

Now, let's grab a bite to eat.”

“Looks like the cows have come home to roost.”

“I couldn't believe it was her, it was like a dream. But there she was, just as I remembered her - that delicately beautiful face and
a body that could melt a cheese sandwich from across the room.
And breasts that seemed to say, "Hey! Look at these!"”

“Like a midget at a urinal, I was going to have to stay on my toes.”

“It's a topsy-turvy world, and maybe the problems of two people don't amount to a hill of beans.
But this is our hill. And these are our beans!”

“Like a blind man at an orgy, I was going to have to feel my way through.”

"Truth hurts. Maybe not as much as jumping on a bicycle with the seat missing, but it hurts."

“You take a chance getting up in every morning, crossing the street or sticking your face in a fan.”

“It's true what they say – ‘Cops and women don't mix’. It's like eating a spoonful of   Drano.  Sure it'll clean you out, but it'll leave you hollow inside.”

"Jane, since I've met you I've noticed things that I never knew
were there before;
birds singing, dew glistening on a newly formed leaf, stoplights."

"Oh, and one more thing: I faked every orgasm!"

"He's in the intensive care ward at Our Lady of the Worthless Miracle."

"I can't hear you! Don't fire the gun while you're talking!"

"Who would do such a thing?
Frank: It's hard to tell. A gang of thugs, a blackmailer, an angry husband, a gay lover...

"Entering without a search warrant, destroying property, arson, sexual assault with a concrete dildo...
what the hell's got into you, Frank?"

"A parachute not opening... that's a way to die. Getting caught in the gears of a combine... having your nuts bit off by a Laplander, that's the way I wanna go."

"I'd known her for years. We used to go to all the police functions together. Ah, how I loved her, but she had her music. I think she had her music. She'd hang out with the Chicago Male Chorus and Symphony. I don't recall her playing an instrument or be able
to carry a tune. Yet she was on the road 300 days of the year. In fact I bought her a harp for Christmas. She asked me what it was.

The accident was caused..

The accident was caused by me waving to the man I hit last week.

The guy was all over the road. I had to swerve a number of times before I hit him.

I knocked over a man. He admitted it was his fault and had been knocked over before.

I didn’t think the speed limit applied after midnight.

The pedestrian had no idea which direction to go, so I ran him over.

I thought the phrase “drinking and driving” meant drinking whilst operating the vehicle.

I told the police that I was not injured, but on removing my hat, I found that I had a fractured skull.

The accident happened because I had one eye on the truck in front, one eye on the pedestrian,
and the other on the car behind.

In my attempt to kill a fly, I drove into a telephone pole.

I saw a slow moving, sad faced old gentleman as he bounced off the roof of my car.

The car in front hit the pedestrian but he got up so I hit him again.

The pedestrian ran for the pavement, but I got him.

I pulled away from the side of the road, glanced at my mother-in-law and headed over the embankment.

I pulled in to the side of the road because there was smoke coming from under the hood.
I realized there was a fire in the engine, so I took my dog and smothered it with a blanket.

I had been learning to drive with power steering. I turned the wheel to what I thought was enough
and found myself in a different direction going the opposite way.
